Happy Ted Lasso Season 3 Premiere Day to those who celebrate! I’m going to try to hold off and watch this weekend with my spouse, since he’s travelling for work— so no spoilers in the comments, okay?
This week’s list includes adorable and delicious spring things and a continued exploration of ChatGPT with some serious articles and a not-quite-as-serious poem I asked it to write.
A few lovely and curious things:
🐿 The look on this squirrel’s little face! (Also, just a recommendation for Allagash Brewing’s social media, in general. It’s a love letter to Maine, and it’s gorgeous).
🥚 It’s Cadbury Mini-Egg Season! Here are 10 facts about them. Please note that I respectfully disagree with the statement at the beginning of the article about creme eggs being the go-to. They are most certainly not. All mini-eggs, all the time (or well, you know, for the month they are here).
🤖 I really appreciated these two articles from Mo Edjlali at Mindful Leader: 4 Ways ChatGPT Might Help With Mindfulness Facilitation and ChatGPT - 4 Things to Watch out For as a balanced take on investigating both the usefulness and limitations of AI. This point in the first article really resonated with me:
Sure there are many unanswered questions and concerns about AI; however, our approach is to jump in and figure things out - instead of sitting on the sidelines with fear and criticism.
✒️ In the spirit of jumping in and figuring things out, I decided to try out the new AI function in Notion (this is the software I use to organize writing . . . and life in general). I asked it to write me a poem about squirrels and pizza and here’s what it gave me:
In the park, a squirrel I see, Nibbling on a slice of pizza with glee. Cheese and sauce, a tasty treat, Not just nuts and seeds it wants to eat. The squirrel nibbles with delight, A pizza slice, a rare sight. As it munches on the crust, I can't help but feel a sense of trust. For if this squirrel can enjoy A pizza slice with such joy, Maybe we can learn to share And show each other we care. So let's take a cue from this furry friend And share a meal until the very end. For whether it's nuts or pizza we eat, Kindness and love are always sweet.
🍋 This Lemon Garlic Pasta with White Beans was delicious. I used kale instead of arugula because I had some to use up and it worked great! Pair it with Cadbury Mini-Eggs for dessert.
What’s beautiful in your world this week? Are you team Creme Egg or Mini-Egg? You can be honest. We don’t have to agree on this one, as long as we all agree with the robot pizza squirrels that “kindness and love are always sweet.”
Be well, find tiny joy-
Mary-Chris
We all need more robot pizza squirrels in our life....and I am Team Dark Chocolate Anything!
