I'm a HUGE supporter of bread at any time, especially artisanal or homemade loaves. I love to bake bread, although sourdough has escaped my skillset so far.
And I'm here for making things just to make things. The creative process is fed by just doing. As an avid maker-of-things, it's the process that fills my cup!
Yes! I so agree about the creative process being fed by doing and I think there is so much power in trying new creative things without much care for the outcome. Love to know this works for you too.
Sourdough has been way more forgiving and fun to play with then it seemed from reading about it. It always seemed so technical and precise, but that really hasn't been my experience. If you decide to give it a try, this has been my go-to resource: https://www.theclevercarrot.com/2020/04/artisan-sourdough-with-all-purpose-flour/
I'm excited to try the blueberry/raspberry muffins you posted earlier this month with some of my discard. I think I'm getting the hang of the bread now, so I'm excited to try some different things!
When I started thinking about how we would use the bread, it was basically all at breakfast: toast, egg sandwiches. Though I did use some for a rare dinner time sandwich yesterday evening. Thanks so much for reading and supporting bread for breakfast! :-)

“We are apparently big on bread at breakfast time in my house.”
